TowerAnswers (“we,” “us,” or “our”) helps cell tower ground lease landowners track leases, project rent, and evaluate buyout offers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using TowerAnswers (the “Platform”), you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. Your email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.

Lease and property information you provide. Site locations, lease terms, rent amounts, escalation details, tenant names, buyout offers you log, and documents you upload to the Lease Locker.

Buyout comparison submissions. If you submit a buyout offer for comparison, the offer details are added to our comparison pool in anonymized, aggregated form.

Usage information. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the Platform's features (rent projections, buyout comparisons, payment logs, document storage), to maintain and secure your account, to communicate with you about your account and leases (such as expiration alerts), and to improve the Platform. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your identity, property details, or lease terms with tower companies, carriers, or lease aggregators.

4. Anonymous Comparison Data

The buyout comparison feature is powered by offers reported by landowners. Data in the comparison pool is stored and presented only in anonymized, aggregated form — it is never tied to your name, email, or specific property. Aggregated statistics (for example, average offer multiples) may be displayed to other users and in published materials.

5. Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Platform, including cloud hosting and database services (such as Vercel and Supabase) and, when payments launch, a payment processor (such as Stripe). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. We do not give them rights to use your data for their own purposes.

6. Cookies and Sessions

We use cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Platform. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and lease data while your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized comparison data, which cannot be linked back to you, may be retained.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may access and update your lease data at any time through your account. You may request a copy of your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and associated data by emailing info@toweranswers.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, and we will honor valid requests consistent with those laws.

9. International Users & Your Data-Protection Rights

We offer TowerAnswers to landowners in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, among other locations. We operate from the United States, so your information is transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws different from those where you live; where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.

EEA / UK (GDPR and UK GDPR).If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Platform), your consent (for the anonymous comparison pool and the optional weekly digest, each of which you can withdraw at any time), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office; in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission).

Canada (PIPEDA), Australia, and New Zealand. If you are in these countries, you have rights to access and correct your personal information and to complain to the relevant privacy regulator (for example, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or the Office of the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner).

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access-controlled databases, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

11. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will notify you by email or through the Platform.
